Our Mission
At The Meowtsiders, our mission is to lend a helping hand to cats across the land. We are committed to improving the lives of outdoor and displaced cats through humane trap-neuter-return (TNR) practices, compassionate care, and thoughtful placement into safe, loving environments. We believe every cat — whether feral or formerly owned — deserves security, respect, and the opportunity to thrive. Our goal is to ensure each cat finds the environment best suited to its individual needs, fostering healthier connections for both cats and people.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters fill out an application for a cat or a specific cat. They are asked for three references. We call the references and if all checks out, we proceed to the next step which would be doing a home check. We make sure the home is secure and fit for the cat.
If that goes well, we set up a time/date for cat to be taken to its new home, adoption contract is signed.
We make sure to let the people know that any cat who gets adopted will be taken. Ask without questions if for some reason things don’t work out in new home.
