We are a small, foster-based rescue group. We do not have a physical shelter. Our mission includes rescuing dogs that would otherwise have little chance at adoption from specific shelters and putting them into foster homes until permanent, suitable adoptive homes can be found, providing funding for spay/ neuter initiatives in our targeted communities, and supporting our chosen shelters with funding and donations (food, bedding, vaccinations and veterinary care) to improve the quality of life of sheltered animals. Finally, we will be working towards our eventual goal of buidling a shelter here in the Twin Cities. Part of this plan would be the development of a program to provide low-cost veterinary care to residents of the Twin Cities and their pets.
If you see an animal you are interested in adopting, please fill out a pre-adoption application on our website at www.mnpaws.org. Pending approval, we will be in touch to set up a meeting with you and the foster family. We prefer to adopt pets within 60 miles of the Twin Cities, and we do visit each adopter's home prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary based on the age and health of the animal. Thank you!
