Our Mission
At Lola’s Kitten Rescue, our mission is to rescue, nurture, and rehome vulnerable kittens and cats while promoting responsible pet ownership through education, veterinary care, and sterilization. We believe every kitten and cat deserves a safe, healthy, and loving home.
Through partnerships and volunteers, we ensure every kitten receives proper medical attention, vaccinations, and spay/neuter procedures before adoption. By emphasizing the importance of early veterinary care and the sterilization of reproducing cats, we strive to reduce overpopulation, prevent suffering, and create a sustainable future for feline welfare in our community as well as our neighboring rural communities greatly affected by feline overpopulation. Through Purple Cat Vet, Dr. Angie has helped us spay many of the mommas, which is vitally important especially with momma cats who are not adoptable and TNR is the only option. We use anything left over from their kittens and adoptions to fund this life saving mission of spaying.
Adoption Policy
At Lola’s Kitten Rescue, our goal is to match each kitten with a safe, loving, and lasting home. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best fit for both the kitten and the adopter.
Submit an Application
Complete our online adoption application to help us learn more about you, your home, and your experience with pets.
Application Review
Our team reviews each application carefully and may follow up with questions, a phone interview, or reference checks.
Meet & Greet
Once approved, we’ll arrange a meeting with the kitten(s) you’re interested at our home.
Adoption Approval
If it’s a good match, we’ll finalize the adoption, complete the paperwork, review health records, answer any questions and collect the adoption fee via Venmo or cash (which helps cover veterinary and care costs as well as spaying feral mommas).
Bringing Your Kitten Home
You’ll receive your kitten’s medical records and guidance for a smooth transition into their new home. Our team remains available for post-adoption support and advice.
Thank You!
