Gallatin County Animal Shelter

We are the Gallatin County Animal Shelter. We are a 501c3 non profit no kill organization. We rely on  adoption fee for our animals meaning we dont always have the funds to fix animals. Animals available for adoption are screened by our staff for signs of health and behavior problems. While we believe them to be free of any problems, diseases can incubate for weeks or months with no outward signs of illness. The same can be said for behavior. Sometimes the animal may not show any signs of behavior problems during their stay at the shelter. We gather as much information as possible at the time of intake to offer them the best chance at finding a new home. Sometimes information is limited or not available. We must rely on the observations and interactions with our staff and volunteers to determine any special needs.
