Our Mission
Our mission at Route to Rescue is to save neglected, abandoned, and abused dogs and cats, educate the public about animal rights issues, and advocate for those who do not have a voice.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process has several steps. First, interested adopters fill out our application. Then we set up a call with each potential adopter where we have a chance to follow up on information, where they can ask us questions, and where we can discuss any animals they are specifically interested in. After the call, we reach out to their vet office if they have/had one. Once all of that is done, if there are no issues, they are approved to adopt any of our animals (unless we believe that the animal and the family may not be a match).
