Our Mission
The McDonough Rescue believes every dog deserves a second chance. They have a way of finding exactly who is supposed to love them back to life, and at The McDonough Rescue we believe we can facilitate that. We believe in saving dogs lives before it's too late, and that in saving a life, we save our own.
Adoption Policy
The adoption process is considered a very personal experience at The McDonough Rescue. Besides a thorough adoption application, we believe a phone call, home check and overall personal relationship with potential adopters is so important. We know that adopting a new family member can be overwhelming, so hand holding and talking through the process with potential adopters is a crucial step. We believe that this allows both the new pet and new family to all feel supported.
