Our Mission

All adoptions begin with the completion and submission of our application.  Please note, the placement of dogs entrusted into our care are our number one priority.

Applicants are carefully screened for suitability and compatibility and must demonstrate that they are prepared, fully and unconditionally to care for and provide for the dog they wish to adopt.

Upon receipt of your application a Placement Coordinator will contact you to review your application and further explain our adoption process, answer all your question and connect you with an Adoption Coordinator that will facilitate your adoption.

A home visit, the signing of an adoption agreement and the payment of an assigned adoption dontation will complete the adoption process.

If you would like an application, please email or  text your email address tand the name of the dog which you are interested in adopting to:

CCACRis an all-volunteer organization. We do not have an "office", nor do we have paid staff. Most of our volunteers have full-time jobs Monday through Friday, and spend their evenings and weekends rescuing dogs from the animal shelters, grooming and caring for the dogs, meeting with prospective families and completing adoptions. Our dogs stay in foster homes until adoption, and are shown by appointment only to approved applicants. No dog will be shown to anyone without a completed application and references checked.
