Meet Misty
Hi my name is Misty! I am a 7-year-old 15 hand gaited mare.
DISCLAIMER!!! This is being written after just one training evaluation and no other handling aside from our health intake. This being said the horses settle in down here and can change both for the positive or the negative and we find out more the more we work with them. Please keep this in mind when considering rescuing a horse from us.
Misty is a nice mare. She does get buddy sour and will throw a hissy fit if left tied without her friends. She can be a bit pushy in hand but responds to correction. She's a little difficult to catch but not crazy. She stands to be saddled, bridled and mounted. I think she has been ridden some and just needs a refresher course with somebody knowledgeable. She tosses her head a good bit with a snaffle in her mouth but she may just like a different style bit or a hackamore type headstall. Looking for an upper intermediate or advanced home. Just someone willing to put some miles on her.
