Meet KANGA-Sponsorship

IMPORTANT: The Nature Network Inc. is a small 501c3 non-profit no-kill organization. Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs. 100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more.

Use the “SPONSOR” button found on each of our pet profiles to donate to us at the PETFINDER FOUNDATION.

We are deeply grateful for help. To meet us, help us, or if you know people or businesses who would like to, please contact us at:
theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal Giving email address for donation and sponsorship).

Mailing: The Nature Network Inc., 3826 Grand View Blvd., #66790, Los Angeles, CA 90066.
We are not like many larger non-profits who use up to 90% of all funds on expensive advertising, enormous salaries, social media, and human expenses.
Our veterinary references are available upon request.

WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING SPONSORS INTO OUR SPONSORSHIP/ADOPTION PROGRAM, FOR THE HORSES WE HAVE RESCUED WHICH ARE UNRIDEABLE OR UNADOPTABLE. SPONSORSHIP INCLUDES UPDATES ON YOUR HORSE ORPHAN. Please contact us for more details about our sponsorship/adoption program.

We have recently amended KANGA'S bio to explain that he is currently sponsorship only, as he has leg or hoof issues which have not been resolved yet.

KANGA is a very sweet senior (22 years old) bay. We think he's a Quarter Horse, a gelding who recently became a homeless horse. Someone kept an eye on him, kept riding him, and notified us before animal control was to pick him up as abandoned at a boarding facility. Kanga's owner apparently lost her job and could not afford to feed him, but Kanga has since gained some more weight.

He is now on a good diet, had his feet trimmed, and has been wormed. He is sturdy and seems healthy, trailers easily, and ties quietly, but has now developed hoof issues, possibly navicular, but will need more diagnostics as it could also be in the ankle or anywhere in the leg.

Kanga deserves a very good home, and here is why: Kanga is about 15.1 hands tall, so he is mature and he is also not big and scary. He is very quiet and sweet and would make a great companion for another horse. A wonderful "babysitter".
Kanga would probably be safe with children, or as a very big pet with even a first time horse owner.

Please tell anyone you know who loves horses, who may be able to help donate towards Kanga's ongoing vet care. He deserves the best and is a sweet good-natured boy. Please note: he is now getting a furry winter coat and will be even more handsome during summer
