#HopTeamGobo is growing up and learning lots.
When #Gobo first arrived he was a bolter, and tolerated humans on his left side only. Well, it only took a few days and some clear but considerate boundaries before he was comfortable being led all over the farm from any side his human wishes.
We have connection and awareness of humans!
We have been groomed nose to tail
We have been getting him ready to be trimmed by handling his feet and working on standing patiently on 3 lanky legs instead of 4
We have gotten all the knots and fairy braids out of his mane and tail
We have zero front feet flying around handlers
We have all 4 on the floor
We have yielding hind ends
We have turning forehands
We have flexion most of the time when asked, lol
We have been dewormed via tube dewormer with zero hassle

Adoption Info:

Horses adopted are typically up to date on vaccines, dental floats, farrier care and all vet needs.

Horses are typically located in the Appalachian area, but please inquire about a horse's specific location when you apply!

We are looking to adopt to safe homes.

A history of good horsemanship, the ability to provide sufficient care with good vet, farrier and peer references are important. If you are a first-time horse owner, we will require you to board at a facility for the first year while you learn more about care. We encourage everyone to take advantage of riding lessons.

Foal adoptions require previous, established experience with youngsters.
