Meet Fred

This handsome, charming, 24 year old registered Quarter Horse is Fred.

Fred lived his glory days as a roping/rodeo champion, and has a spectacular history. Nowadays, Fred is living the retired life, enjoying treats (especially peppermint), the company of his friends and getting a ton of kisses and cuddles from his humans. Fred does really well with children and small animals. He loves mares and younger gelding, but can be very bossy towards older geldings.

Fred is a gentle soul, with excellent ground manners and an incredibly sweet and friendly demeanor.

Unfortunately, Fred does have advanced arthritis, therefore he cannot be ridden. But, with a daily pain management routine, he is kept on his feet! Fred would make an excellent companion, especially for a mare....he loves the ladies!
