Meet Filly
Hi my name is Filly! I am a 10-year-old 15-15.1 hand Quarter Horse Paint mare.
I grew up on a farm and all I ever did was eat and occasionally they would come out and pet us and spend time in the pasture but I have never been ridden. The kids grew up and left home so it came time to find me a new home. They ended up bringing me to the shelter here and I am quite happy. I'm a little shy of people but I am not wild. I'm a chunky girl and could make a great riding horse with some good training. I hope to find a great home soon where I can bond with a new family.
Filly is a big girl. She is 10 years young with no health issues that we have found at all. We are working on finishing her halter training as time permits but she seems to be a good minded mare. If you have training experience and would like to take on a nice project she would be perfect.
Filly is not saddle broke.
