Meet Coco

CURRENT RIDER LEVEL: Intermediate

Coco is a 2019 Tennessee walking Horse mare who stands at 14.3 hands tall and weighs 1,014lbs.
Coco is a docile mare who fits in well with the mares and geldings she's turned out with. Coco is easy to catch and will stand tied to be groomed and tacked. Coco will stand to be mounted from both the ground and a mounting block. She currently direct reins only, but could easily learn to neck rein. In the arena, she is getting better with every ride but lacks confidence and she needs consistent direction from her rider. Coco gets nervous with new objects and obstacles. With the bridge and teeter totter specifically, Coco required much time and her rider to dismount to work through getting onto it with her leading in hand. However, on the trail with the lead horse Coco will walk over any bridge with no hesitation. This is typical for a young horse that lacks confidence life experiences. Coco is very smooth, she has a nice forward walk and gait. On the trails, Coco does best with a confident horse in the lead. Coco is a smart, curious and she thinks more often than she reacts. Coco seems to enjoy getting out on trails and looking at her new surroundings. With more time and continued guidance she will blossom into a confident trail horse who's capable of leading any trail.
