Hi my name is Brandy! I am an 18-year-old Quarter horse cross mare and am 15.1-15.2 hands tall.

Brandy is a big mare. She seems to be well trained and full of energy! She does tend to be very buddy sour if shes not being worked with. Under saddle she did follow directions and her buddy sourness seemed to be less. Brandy can be somewhat pushy when you lead her but trailers well. She also knows how to lung and stands to be saddled although she does pin her ears slightly with the cinch. I would like to see her learn to lower her head for bridling and become softer. She does stand to be mounted and is pretty calm in the round pen. Brandy is a forward mare and moves out nicely. She seems to have been taught to collect up and respond well to directions. She has a soft mouth but is a little spooky/unconfident out on her own. With obstacles she seems to do best being shown how to do it and then she does it willingly. Brandy needs work with desensitizing and being buddy sour. She would suite a level 3 rider just because she does need more handling even though she is very soft. Someone confident in working with her when she is nervous but enjoys the energy and life she has to offer.
Brandy still needs to gain weight back before going to work too hard. Someone willing to feed her extra until she is up to a healthy weight is a must.
