Meet Bisa - Starship Sparkle
Starship Sparkle ("Bisa")
2009 16h Bay Registered Thoroughbred Mare
Bisa came to Lollypop when her owner was facing health issues and could no longer keep her. Bisa raced 31 times in her early years before retiring and being retrained. She spent a few years before coming to our facility with very limited turnout and no riding. She is happily on 24/7 turnout now and has been in training, working towards jumping/dressage concepts. We've noticed some arthritic changes that may limit the level of work she can do and the size of her rider, but she has been doing wonderfully with regular work lately. We do not expect her to be able to compete regularly or at high levels, but only time will tell what she's capable of!
Bisa really forms a connection with those who want to bond with her. She loves being spoiled and can really shine in her training and personality once she knows you're on her side. She does really well having a job with a rider who can be flexible with her.
Suitable for an Intermediate Rider with a Trainer's help, or Advanced Rider.
