Allspice's Story
Allspice is a charming and handsome 20+ year-old, 16-hand Standardbred gelding with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Rescued from auction, he's settled in beautifully and is showing a real willingness to learn and connect.

Despite his age, Allspice is full of life and has been recently restarted under saddle. He's safe, steady, and has been ridden bareback by summer camp kids! While still a bit green, he's kind and level-headed - no buck, bolt, or rear - making him suitable for confident beginners and up with a trainer or experienced hand to help polish his skills. Allspice is not the bravest of steeds, and can have a spook here and there.

Allspice thrives in a herd of geldings and would do best without any mares nearby - he finds them a little too exciting! He hasn't been tested on trails just yet, but we suspect he'd enjoy peaceful hacks with a few buddies and a calm environment.

If you're looking for a gentle, good-natured companion to enjoy light riding and lots of love, Allspice may be the perfect fit.

If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org.
