Zuma (Neutered) (Photos 3/9/2023) Shar-Pei & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Marietta, OH

Zuma is a cute one-year+ male Shar-Pei/Pit Bull Terrier mix who was picked up by our HSOV Humane Officer and the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden on March 7, 2023 and brought to the HSOV. Zuma was later surrendered by his family.

This adorable little guy has a silver/gray short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with soft brown eyes, a blue/gray nose, and short 'folded-over' ears which give him the cutest appearance. Zuma has a look of innocence in his eyes, and he will have you wrapped around his paws in a 'New York minute'.

Zuma is an affectionate, outgoing personality and loves attention. He was full of playful puppy-like energy when HSOV Humane Officer Fredley Tynan accompanied him for outdoor photos on the evening of March 9th. Zuma was most anxious to make the acquaintance of other dogs that he saw being walked in the distance.

Zuma weighed 31 lbs when he came to our shelter and could easily gain several pounds to fill out his slim little body. Zuma is surprisingly strong on a leash in spite of his thin physique.

Zuma will be neutered when he is deemed physically fit to undergo that procedure and will be ready to find a fabulous home.

UPDATE: Zuma was neutered on May 2, 2023 and was also given rabies vaccine.
