*Bonded Pair* Zuko and Nala - $ Pit Bull Terrier Mix Milwaukee, WI

Nala and Zuko are looking for a loving family together!

These bonded sweeties have lived with other dogs, but would do best in a home without cats as they're pretty curious! Nala and Zuko would love a patient family who has experience with dogs. A family with older children would be best as they are still mastering their manners.

Nala is a spunky 8 year old boxer mix! She is a very active girl who will love to go on long walks or hikes. She is good with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She does love to talk, and may bark if she's bored or rumble when she's excited! Nala is an extremely friendly girl who uses her voice to say hello to you, or to tell you what she wants! Nala is looking for someone who will let her bright light shine, and a home filled with lots of snuggles and room to run!

Zuko is a 5 year old pit mix who’s favorite game is “follow the leader." He is a sweet boy who enjoys getting lots of pets and snuggles. He will enjoy walks and exercise as well, but is generally a more low energy guy. He can be shy at first and will need a home that will encourage him to be confident and independent. He relies heavily on his big sister, Nala, to show him the ropes, and will need an owner to do so as well.

Both of these sweeties love to snuggle and will happily spend the day on the couch with you watching Netflix. Once they have had some time to run around, they settle down and enjoy being lazy together. They haven't had any accidents in the house, and are crate trained. Both dogs also do just fine in the car and can be transported easily. While these two have their quirks, they are incredibly loving and eager to please!

If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for one of our great dogs, please go to our website- www.luckymuttsrescue.org and submit an application. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$400+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$350+tax for ages 4-7
$250+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
