Zorro *1/2 price adoption fee*'s Story
Meet Zorro: tiny, spicy, and ready to retire in style.

Zorro is a 13-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix with strong opinions and zero time for nonsense. He’s your classic older gentleman—likes his meals on time, his couch cozy, and his personal space mostly respected (unless you’re cuddling him, in which case: carry on).

This pint-sized legend came back to us after his previous home decided he wasn’t a great fit with kids. Honestly, he agrees. Zorro is not interested in loud noises, sticky hands, or being anyone’s emotional support project. What he is into? Snuggling with his person, being carried like royalty, and lounging peacefully on a calm, quiet couch.

Zorro would thrive with a single person who appreciates a good nap buddy. He’s not aggressive with other dogs—he simply prefers to have the couch (and you) to himself. Respectfully. He does fine coexisting with other dogs but isn’t looking to be part of a pack. Think: solo retirement, not frat house.

Despite his slightly crusty rep, Zorro is shockingly tolerant of basic care. Tell him you’re trimming his nails? He’ll act like you’re joking—but then he’ll totally let you do it. Deep down, he just wants to be loved and looked after.

He’s house-trained, non-destructive, and walks politely on leash (but would prefer not to walk in the rain, thank you). He barks at the appropriate things (like sketchy mail carriers or any dog walking past his house) but otherwise he’s mostly silent, curled up in a warm bed, dreaming of roast chicken.

Zorro is the full senior chi package: he wants to cuddle, eat, sleep, and be admired. That’s it. No drama. No fetch. Just vibes.

If you’re ready to give this low-maintenance legend the retirement life he deserves, apply to adopt Zorro today.

www.pupstarzrescue.org
Please Follow us on Instagram: @pupstarzrescue
Like us on FaceBook! www.facebook.com/PupStarzRescue

PupStarz rescue cannot guarantee the breed, size, temperament or age of any dog.
