Meet Zoey SRT
Let’s have a tete-a-tete, that means a private chat. I am all about being private not TMI (too mutt information) in public. So lemme tell ya. I am a Good Girl and I was living on the streets with a homeless couple. They were my people, my persons, my loves. But my people moved into a motel to get off the streets and that motel doesn’t take dogs, which is really odd, because I would think something called a muttel would take dogs???
So now I am in foster care. My Foster Mom calls me Zoey, that is my name when I was living on the streets, so we kept it, so at least one thing is furmiliar in my life. I am a Lab mix, maybe a little Pitbull in the ingredients too, about 50 pounds and 2 years old. The good news is that I am very good at walking the streets on a leash, I had lots of practice. I know all the basic manners of being a good girl like SIT, STAY, DOWN, and COME.
I know I sound super fantastick so you are wondering why I am having trouble finding a home. Here are the kickers. Since I lived on the ruff streets of San Antonio, I am very street wise and not trusting of new people. Stranger. Dange. As a benefit of that, I will protect you with my life and be very loyal to my new family. The down side is I am not the best at meeting strangers, dog or human, so I am not recommended for a home with young kids, coming and going.
I do have lots of regular good girl qualities, like doing words for treats. I LoVE food. Oddly enuff I also love my crate. My quiet personal retreat, of course, I like anything with the word TREAT in it, retreat! I am so obsessed with my kennel that sometimes Foster Mom has to encourage me to come out with treats.
I do not like small dogs at all, but Foster Mom has some regular sized dogs and I tolerate them, but really prefer to be with my people. Foster Mom’s house is bursting at the seams with dogs, so I really hope to get adopted fast to a simple life of being an only dog with a lucky recipient of my loyalty and devotion. Please give me an oppawturnity to love you.
