Meet Zoey. Zoey has been with the same owner since she was a puppy but is currently residing at a shelter because her owner became homeless. This sweet and loveable girl really deserves to be in a home. In her previous home she lives with two kids (10 & 18 years old), another dog, and a cat. She gets along well with everybody. When you get home after a hard day's work, she will remind you how appreciated you are by running to great you. Once exercised, Zoey loves to just rest and cuddle on the couch with you. She loves to be held and roll into you for belly loves. If you are looking for affection, this is your dog. For exercise Zoey loves to run and run. Her favorite past time is pulling her previous owner on roller blades, though she will settle for long walks and/or fenced in yard play.
Adopting an adult dog has its advantages! Since Zoey has already lived in a house she is housebroken. When she has to go, she will run from you to the door and back again and dance in circles. If you ask if she has to go out, she will stop and look at you with those sweet empathetic eyes. She's always had free range of the home and is not destructive.
