Meet Zoë

My name is Zoë, and I come with my best friend Indi. We are inseparable. Let me tell you why: We were saved from a puppy mill where we were used for profit our entire lives. Our rescuer took care of us, taught us how to potty on grass (we didn’t even know what was grass until she showed us) and how to walk on leashes. Before we were rescued, we were locked up in cages and had to eat urine-soaked kibble. We were so emaciated that our ribs and spine were showing! We didn’t even have names! Our rescuer fed us really good food that made us gain weight. We definitely love eating good food! She gave us love and made us feel safe. Before being rescued, we didn’t even know what was a kind human touch. When we go to our forever home, we MUST go together. I cannot live without the other pup and will find a way to escape to be with her since she’s family. We would like to go to a home where we have a big backyard, good food, a warm bed, daily walks, and loving parents. Someone who will care for us our entire lives, no matter how old we get. We are the most loyal pups and love to go for walks and play.

Please, NO homes with small kids or teens. Their scooters and toys scare us and sadly, some kids have been very rough when handling us and have dropped us before. We’ve been used for profit and neglected our entire lives and deserve a loving home where we can give our family lots of kisses and grow old with them.

If you are interested in meeting Zoë & Indi, please download the Adoption Questionnaire (farescue.org/pdf_files/questionnaire_canine.pdf), fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Zoë is 3 years old and weighs 8 lbs.]
