Zippy Cocker Spaniel Houston, TX

Zippy is a super sweet Cocker Spaniel with a beautiful black and white coat. He's 3 years old and weighs ~20 pounds. He is quite ZIPPY too!!

He has a lovely disposition and is good with all adults and older children. This sweet boy is happiest when he's right by you. He has an enormous personality and is very human focused and is a sucker for belly rubs - he's a drop and roll kind of guy. Zippy is super smart and loves to be on top of things - he's very agile and likes to be where he can see everything.

Zippy is a highly portable companion who would love to join his people for shopping & car rides. He has a medium energy level & is great on a leash. He's also quite a ham for the camera! Overall he's a sweet boy who likes to remain close to his people & would be best suited for owners who can be home most of the time.

This ~3 year old Cocker Spaniel was found in Houston as a stray with zip ties on his back legs. We do not know his sad history or how someone could do that to any animal!!!!

"Zippy" is safe with us now. We suspect he was used for breeding as he is stunning and very used to being crated. He was a little underweight and is fed multiple times a day. He loves to eat :-)

He does really well with all of the other dogs and is not a barker at all.

We would prefer a family with no small kiddos. A family with or without other dogs works.

He is neutered and microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations.
