No Adoption Fee. His fee is sponsored.
Zeus is not a happy camper living in our temporary shelter. This handsome, young and active boy needs to be out and about enjoying life. Zeus is 2-year-old, 80lb lb. super intelligent, affectionate, and playful white German Shepherd. In his home, he’s a chill couch potato and loves belly rubs, treats, ice cubes, chew bones, and catching a tennis ball in the air. Zeus has worked with a trainer and been through a loose leash training course. He learns quickly and knows many commands, including sit, down, paw, touch, stay, up, out. He can be left alone in a home without incident.
Zeus is not a fan of other dogs while on a leash, so we think it's best that he's an only pup. He's made huge progress in learning coping skills on walks, but needs a dog savvy home with someone who understands his need for personal space when other dogs are nearby. He would love a fenced yard in which to run and chase balls.
If you are that “one dog forever” kind of a person and willing to continue helping him become more comfortable around other canines, you can't go wrong with Zeus. He will be your BFF and the most loyal sidekick.
