Hello, my name is Zeus - yes, the king of the pack! I might not be throwing thunderbolts, but I do rule with a heart full of love. I'm an 8-9-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix, and I came to the shelter with my big family of 7 other dogs. Now I'm ready to find a home of my own where I can enjoy the good life.

I'm a sweet, gentle guy who loves being near my people. I've got a quirky little habit that always makes everyone smile - I like to nibble and nurse on blankets when I'm feeling relaxed. It's my comfort thing, and it shows my softer side.

At this stage in life, I'm all about balance - I enjoy walks and sniffing around the yard, but I'm equally happy curling up for a nap or just hanging out. I get along with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion. Since I can be a little shy and unsure in new situations, I'd do best in a home with children 8 years and older who can give me patience and time to warm up. Once I feel comfortable, my affectionate and loyal personality really shines.

One thing to know about me - I really love being with my people! If left alone, I've been known to try and climb fences to go find them, so I'll need a secure home and someone who can make sure I stay safe and supervised when outside.

Requirements: Martingale Collar; Children 8yrs+All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
