Adorable, triangle-eared Zeus is a special dog who has had a journey filled with love and change! He has been in the shelter before because his previous owners could not care for him. Now he is back due to pet restrictions at the new owner's housing. As adaptable as Zeus is, he is seeking a new loving home where he can plant his roots! Zeus is an 80lb bilingual pup. He understands commands in both Spanish and English, including "ven" (come), "vamos" (let's go), "besos" (kisses), and "comida" (food). According to his previous owners, Zeus is best suited to a home without other animals, as he tends to get anxious around dogs and prefers to avoid them. His previous owners also say that Zeus has been around children and has done well with them! Reportedly, older kids who understand his needs and give him space will be great friends for him. Zeus knows several commands including "sit," "stay," "down," "come," "shake/paw," as well as "gentle" and "quiet." He's well-behaved and responds well to training. Zeus takes Apoquel for seasonal allergies and is prone to ear infections. Despite these minor health concerns, he's otherwise healthy and full of life. Zeus is looking for a loving home where he can be the center of attention. He would thrive in a quieter environment with an experienced owner who understands his need for a calm, stable routine and can offer him the time and patience to adjust to new situations.
