Zelda Shepherd & Boxer Mix Chattanooga, TN

It’s #NationalMuttDay and this cutie patootie just arrived to us off the urgent list from a local shelter. Sweet Zelda is an 8 month old mystery mix with a shepherd body and markings and a smushy puggle-ish face! She joined us a timid girl but it didn’t take her long to realize she was safe.

Zelda is a mannerly little thing and knows a few commands. She is also 100% housebroken, kennel trained, and we quickly discovered what she loves most - her dog friends! Lucky for her, she has 4 shelter friends to romp around with during the day! Did you know that mixed breed dogs are statistically healthier than pure breds due to pure breds having a limited gene pool which predisposes them to more hereditary and generational diseases? No debate here, just the messenger. Anyway, we love our mutts and Zelda is one of countless reasons why!

Zelda will be ready for adoption as soon as she is spayed.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $135 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
