Zeke Australian Shepherd & Border Collie Mix Richmond, VA

Greetings potential friend, my name is Zeke and I am as Godly as my name suggests. My rescue family thinks I am an Australian Shepherd/ Border Collie cross but am a 100% 4 legged floofy pogo stick.

I am 9 months old and I have a gorgeous red & white coat. I am a 100% velcro dog that is in love with my foster dad and fascinated with whatever he is doing. Need a friend to go to the bathroom with you? I’m your dog. Need help to clean the dishes? I’ll be there. Got your frisbee stuck in a tree? I will do my best using my built in pogo stick skills to get it.

I am quite athletic and have more hops than an IPA. I LOVE to play fetch for hours and practice agility in the backyard. I will excel at doggie sports like fastcat, agility, lure or flyball.

Sometimes I patrol the yard for squirrels and birds, but I don’t hurt them. While I do love and I mean love cats, they do not love me so I prefer a home without them. I do love other dogs, but I was attacked by a dominant male and would rather have a submissive or chill sibling. *** I MUST meet any siblings before my foster dad will approve of the adoption. ***

I can use some more training on leash walking, though I am pretty good. However, I can’t contain my excitement when I see the leash. I am crate trained and will do anything for peanut butter. I am very food motivated.

I am looking for a home with someone who is active, loves long walks and has the energy to to wear me out. I have a ton of energy and need an outlet for it. I am still learning, but would love a home where agility training will be part of my routine. I know a few tricks and am a total cuddle bug!
