Meet Zeke
ON A TEMPORARY HOLD FOR TAKING APPLICATIONS.
This cutie is almost 8 months old. We think he is a schipperke/lab mix. He weighs a mere 31 pounds which makes him the perfect size! Zeke has the most adorable underbite that gives him plenty of character and uniqueness! He is such a happy guy and loves to play with the other dogs. Because of this, we think he would love to have a canine brother or sister. He also likes to play ball although he doesn't always bring it back yet. As is typical with an active dog, he needs a fully fenced yard to run and play in.
He is a young guy and we are working with him on his habit of jumping on us. He is learning quickly but, at this point, he might not be best with very small children as he might mistakenly knock them over. We have also been working on his leash skills and he is progressing nicely. He has been cat tested and passed.
You can meet Zeke on Saturdays from 10-2 at Dogs Forever, 809 Rockford Rd SW in Cedar Rapids. Prior to your visit, please fill out an application so we can learn more about you and your home.
