Zeke is a playful dog that is good with men and women, kids(preferably over 10) AND other dogs! We wish we could add cats in there too but unfortunately, he has not been cat tested.

When tested with other dogs, Zeke was playful, passive/neutral as well as assertive/aggressive with them. He will do well in a home with a passive/submissive resident dog. He has a high prey drive and will thrive in an active home, committed to focusing his energy with mental and physical stimulation. Zeke has a fixation with lights and the tv. He will try to chase lights or shadows depending on the time of day. He will stand at the tv and stare at the screen, sometimes jumps or barks at it. He will do well with an assertive leader plus obedience training to help focus his energy.
He does know some basic commands like sit, stay, down, off, kennel and shake. He is crate and house trained but needs to learn leash manners.

Zeke is not an overly affectionate dog; he likes to interact and will occasionally ask for affection but he prefers to be present and not snuggled. He would sit next to his people on the sofa but if they tried to pet him, he would growl. Zeke is special in that he does the rottweiler purr but will change into a growl in short order, proper training will help with this.
He is the BEST fetch player you could ask for! He will fetch and fetch until you tell him its time to stop!
