Zayn Chihuahua Mix Palatine, IL

Second City is proud to (re)introduce… Zayn!! This pup is the absolute best boy, and he’s looking for his forever home after a bit of a rough year. 
 
Zayn is a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing in at 12 pounds. He came to us earlier this year and spent a great deal of time with a foster family learning how to be a dog and to trust humans. He finally found his perfect match and was adopted over the summer. Unfortunately, he was returned to us as his adopter is having some medical issues and made the incredibly difficult decision to give this guy up so that he can get the absolute best care and all of the attention (and belly rubs!) he deserves. 
 
Zayn is an angel – very well behaved, super smart, fully housebroken, does well home alone without a crate, and he’s only interested in chomping on his toys. And have you seen his face? Just look at that cute face. We can’t even handle it.  
 
Zayn is a playful guy who loves to be outdoors. If you have a chipmunk infestation, just hire Zayn, he’ll definitely scare them all off for you! He’s very interested in chasing any toy you want to throw, but he’s still getting the hang of bringing it back to you. He can be a little skittish around loud noises like thunder and he’ll need a lot of time to warm up to new people. But, once he trusts you, he’ll be your best friend! Zayn gets along well with his furry foster siblings, we’re not sure how he feels about cats, and he did well with his foster’s grandchildren once they gave him the time and space he needed to feel safe. 
 
It’s been a long road for this little guy… will you be the warm, patient, cozy lap that Zayn will finally get to curl up into forever?
