Meet Zara
54 days! 54 days this girl has been waiting for someone to adopt her. Is that not the most surprising thing ever?!
Man, I can't say that I would have guessed that I would still be in rescue at this point. I came into rescue with 21 other puppies! I thought I would be one of the first to get adopted, and instead, I am one of the last. I guess that just means that my forever family hasn't found me. Hopefully, by sharing my story again, they will!
My name is Zara and I am a 13 week old female Great Pyrenees mix. I am a super sweet girl, and my foster can attest to that!
"This little girl loves adventures, exploring, water, and roughhousing. She is very active and isn’t afraid of anything. She will play with everyone which includes kids, puppies, big and small. She even tries to play with the ducks! She loves the outdoors and wandering around, looking for her next hole to dig. She definitely has the pyr stubborn gene but we think it makes her even more endearing. She brings so much laughter and joy into our house. She has recently learned how soft the human beds are and has decided that is where she will sleep too. Whoever gets this baby girl will be so very lucky!"
Now that you know a little bit about me and what my foster has to say, here are some additional things to note.
?I am still a baby. This means my new family needs to be ready to potty train me, work with me on basic manners, and have a lot of time on their hands to help raise me.
?I will need proper socialization. My new family will need to expose me to a little bit of everything. Such as walks, car rides, public outings, visitors, other dogs, etc.
?I am being fostered in Blanchard, OK. We do not send our dogs on transports or ship them. This means my new family needs to pick me up, even if they are out of state.
?My adoption fee is $275. That includes two sets of puppy shots and wormings. I will also have had a bordetella. I will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
The only thing I am asking that my new family have is another playful dog. I would prefer an active family, but if their dog is super playful I would be fine in a calmer home as well.
