Meet Zak
Say hello to Zak! This loving 1 year-old hound/Doberman mix is having a seriously hard time finding his forever family, and we can't figure out why!
Zak has been blossoming in foster care the last two months since arriving from Houston. We are not sure of his backstory, all we know is that Zak is incredibly friendly to all the people he has met, and can't wait for some couch cuddles! His favorite activities include his walks with his fosters, playing fetch and tug in the backyard, and curling up in the humans' bed during work hours.
Does Zak like to give hugs when greeting people? Yes. Does he get feisty on leash from time to time? Yes. Can he be an all around goofy boy who is just a puppy in a 50# body? Yes. But I challenge you to find a dog that has made such great strides in such a short amount of time. Zak will benefit from a stable family environment where he can learn and grow with you. For being such a goof, he is incredibly trainable!
All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. If you have any additional questions, or would like to adopt Zak, please send us an email at resilientheartsanimalsanctuary@gmail.com and we will send you an adopter survey. WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER INQUIRIES OR PHONE CALLS, ONLY EMAILS.
Resilient Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue in Seattle, WA. 100% of adoption fees go towards helping us save more high-risk animals, and unite them with their forever families in the PNW! If you would like to learn more about us, please visit resilientheartsanimalsanctuary.org!
