Zack is a young, born 07-18-17, Australian shep/greyhound mix (best guess). He weighs in a 60 lbs and needs a more active household. He is great with other dogs of all sizes, knows his basic commands and walks nicely on leash. He would do best in a home without toddlers as he is still a baby himself and can forget his size at times. Do to his breed mix he would love a fenced in yard to play in (required) and a bonus would be another young dog looking to play.
Zack is a great dog but is young so high energy and is not a good choice for a first time dog owner. Someone experienced with herding breed would be ideal as he does have some of the tendencies. Very smart boy who with continued direction will make an awesome family member.

A adoption application must be filled out to meet with any of our foster dogs. All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to http://new2urescue.org if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $275 to $350
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$300
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
