Zach Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Sandy Hook, CT

Zach is a happy, outgoing Catahoula Leopard dog mix ready for his forever family! Zach was found homeless, roaming and slightly injured. He was brought to a local shelter by animal control where he was only given a few days to be claimed. We couldn't let this stunning boy die. He needed help and deserved to know how great life really can be. We took him in, gave him the veterinary care he needed, allowed him time to heal and now he is ready to enjoy life's adventures to the fullest! Zach would be a great addition to an active, outdoorsy family that will include him in their outings and dedicate some time to training as well as cozy family time at home. He'd make a fantastic hiking buddy. He loves learning new things. He's very energetic, playful, smart, active, curious and enthusiastically enjoys exploring. He's a young fella, not quite 1 year old - we're estimating him to be born around the summer of 2020. He does great with people -very affectionate, loving and attentive and has shown playfulness towards other dogs. Zach is neutered, heart-worm negative, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped.
