Yvette's Story

Yvette is an amazing dog who is full of love. Her favorite pass time besides being outside and going for walks is snuggling right by your side. I think that Evies ideal day would be spent outdoors going on walks/runs and playing tug of war and later snuggling for hours on the couch watching movies. She is very easy to train and is food motivated.
Yvette loves being pet and will give you huge puppy eyes when she wants attention (that or she’ll crawl in your lap and give you a play growl).
She also loves to play with toys and is very vocal when doing so. She is very good on the leash and does not pull. Being a more shy dog, she can be a hit or miss when interacting with other dogs. She gets along with polite dogs who back off when signaled to, but can be timid with more forward dogs. Evie does fine passing outdoor cats on walks but has not been introduced to indoor cats. Evie also does well with nail trims provided you give her treats throughout the trimming. She doesn’t seem to be bothered by vacuums, hair dryers, or drills.

Evie does not like kibble, peanut butter, milk bones. She will tolerate it when she has to but she definitely prefers fresh meat (cooked beef, chicken, pork, venison, canned tuna). Evie does not like baths, she will stand there and let you give her one but she prefers to be stinky and dry.

Tricks and other stuff:
Sit, lie down
She is also crate trained but will not go into her crate unless you throw a treat or she enters it on her own to lie down.
She is kept in a crate (or gated off in the kitchen) when I’m not home and at night
She is potty trained
She has not destroyed any property and doesn’t seem inclined to
