If anyone is looking for an amazing dog to add to your pack-look no further. I have been fostering Yondu with Furever Home, Inc in Fremont for about 5 weeks. He is a 5 yr old neutered male coonhound mix with up to date vetting. 100% kennel/house trained, learning to walk calmly on a leash and doing amazing. Makes a great walking or running buddy and he regularly goes jogging with me. A little leery of strangers at first but warms up quickly. Loves to give hugs, kisses and thinks he’s a 50 ish pound lap dog. Gets along famously with other dogs big and small. Sleeps in a kennel but would be more than happy to accompany you in bed. Loves to be outside in my yard and will keep your yard free of bunnies/squirrels/stray cats! Alerts you for strangers but has a quieter bark. Knows sit. Kids make him a little nervous when they approach him at first but if he is able to do the approaching he’s fine. Whoever is meant to be his forever family needs to have patience with him as it takes him a few weeks to settle in, feel comfortable and show his true colors. Would be amazing to see him go to someone that has a fenced yard for him to hang out in. His favorite past times are keeping watch on the back deck, chewing on bones, playing with squeaky toys and napping in the sun.
