Yogi is the sort of dog you just want to hug and love forever. He was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation. And he loves people, kids, and dogs. If anything, he just needs some confidence and to know we would never allow him into his previous situation again. The trainers are working on his confidence, and he has come so far already. LCA and Paws in Prison are doing their part to make the rest of his life his best life. Now he needs that home that will make that pact complete. He would make a great family dog.

Current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative on monthly preventative, microchipped

Yogi is in the Paws in Prison program where dogs receive obedience training. This dog is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on 8/14. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive their training journal. This journal documents everything from entering the facility, daily training progress, and interactions with trainers.
