Their current foster says this is a lovey pair of dogs. Bear loves being pet and is showing Yogi how nice it is to be loved!

No, it’s not a mistake. Bear, the Golden Mix and Yogi, the Chi mix, are a bonded pair so if you couldn’t decide between adopting a Chihuahua or a Golden Retriever, here is your chance to have both. Yogi is 5 years old and weighs 16 pounds. Yogi has medium energy and is a little unsure of himself but as long as he has Bear by his side, he is braver. He is learning that being picked up and cuddled by people is what people do with little pups. He allows himself to be handled but always seems surprised. Yogi loves bouncy balls because Bear loves bouncy balls and Yogi loves Bear. They are good around other dogs and children but have not been around cats so a cat free home would be best. Bear love to snuggle in big, soft, fluffy beds and Yogi loves using Bear as his big fluffy bed. They are crate trained and should be crated together as Yogi needs Bear to be his pillow. It is also Yogi’s job to keep Bear clean and will groom him like a cat. Yogi has a stiff leg but that doesn’t stop him from anything. Yogi and Bear are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. The adoption fee for the pair is $500.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
