Meet Yogi!

I'm Yogi! I am a 3 year old, what Foster Mom thinks is a Shepherd/Husky mix, and I'm a total lapdog - I will take up your entire lap and then some!

I am a huge cuddle bug, who wants nothing more than to snuggle up and get all the cuddles. I love playing with my squeaky toys and will happily chase after them if you throw them. I am a big boy who doesn't realize my size, so sometimes I may knock you over!

I haven't had much experience on a leash, but Foster Mom says that I'm doing really well! I have also practiced wearing a harness on walks - by the way walks are the BEST! I love exploring the trail and getting to smell everything!

I am fully crate trained and don't even need a bribe to go into my crate. Other dogs could definitely learn something from me. Foster Mom checks up on me with her Puppy Cam and she told me that I rock; I am always napping or chilling in my crate. Foster Mom is gone at work for 9 hours a day and I have had no problems or accidents.

I am super smart if I do say so myself. I know all of my basic commands and when I came to Foster Mom's house it only took me 2 days to learn that I wasn't allowed on the couches (neither are my foster sisters so it's all good). Foster Mom sits with me on the floor and I get all the cuddles ♥.

I sleep through the night, but would prefer to sleep with you (floor or bed!) and not in my crate (especially if you are going to be gone during the day).

I love other dogs and have gotten along well with my two foster sisters. I want to play with them but can sometimes come off a little too excited. I will calm down as I get more acclimated to my new home. If I'm the only dog that's cool too - a whole lot of cuddles just for me (Foster Mom says kudos if you catch the reference)! I haven't had experience with cats, so if I'm getting a kitty sibling I may need some time to adjust.

Speaking of adjusting, it takes me some time to get to know men. Even though I'm a big boy, men are a little scary to me. I will probably bark (a lot) and will probably not want to be alone with one for a while. I also don't like sudden movements, until I get used to you. Please be patient with me as I get more comfortable around you!

If I sound like the perfect dog for you (Foster Mom says I am a Very Good Boy), hurry and fill out an application with Rescued Rascals. It would be awesome if I could find my forever home and celebrate the holidays with my new family!
