Yaki's Story

Meet Yaki!…so super sweet, she is happy just being on your lap all day if possible. With bright eyes that seem to take in everything around her, she has a curiosity that makes you smile. Whether it’s playing with her toys, getting pets from her favorite humans or burrowing under her blanket and snuggling up for some quality cuddle time, she enjoys affection and human connection. Yaki will follow you everywhere like a shadow…when walking, she will stay by your side. At 15 pounds, she is the ideal size for being scooped up and being held…Yaki’s favorite position. Yaki is housebroken when kept on a schedule, and has reached that perfect age where puppy energy has mellowed, yet she maintains that spark that makes interaction a delight. Yaki would be a wonderful companion for someone who works from home, as she loves to settle in and keep you company. If you are interested in meeting Yaki, be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11;30-1:30.<br/>If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application directly to our website at www.ny-petrescue.org. Only applications submitted directly to Petrescue will be considered.
