Meet XENA - a cuddle bug!
Meet XENA!
Xena was ~20 lbs and about 5-5.5 months old as of December 31, 2024. We expect Xena to be in the 35-to 40lb range full grown.
We think Xena is a Lab mix, likely with a shepherd mix, simply based on coloring and also because we suspect who the parents are; Xena was rescued from the streets from a mom who has given birth several times in a neighborhood. Xena has lived in a home for several months with a foster so she’s used to home life!
The foster reports that Xena stands out from her siblings as being particularly cuddly. She loves to be cuddled, kissed, petted and generally by your side! The foster also reports that she loves humans and seems to be in tune with her humans’ moods and loves to be a comforting presence!
She gets along wonderfully with all the dogs in the foster’s home (there are dogs of many ages and sizes). She LOVES to play with her siblings and also with toys! She is a typical happy puppy!
Xena also would get along with children as she is young and simply has a heart of gold!
Xena is doing great with house training. Please note that as with any puppy in a new place, a new routine will need to be established so please expect to do some continues training!
