Meet Xena
XENA IS READY FOR HER FOREVER HOME
Hello everyone, Xena here, checking in! I went for my spay and the vet took x-rays of my pelvis to see if I had any fractures (old or new). Turns out there were no fractures to be seen and my FM says that's a great thing! That means I have permission to get back to being a puppy! I can run and play with my foster fur brothers and my foster humans. FM says I'm really awesome at this thing called fetch and I learned to bring the ball back very quickly! I get lots of rubs when I do and FM says I'm such a good girl!
I'm working on this thing called sit too but I'm so wiggly when FM has a treat in her hand that I haven't mastered that one yet; but I'm sure it won't take long to get the hang of it.
Xena is house trained and crate trained and is great at fetch (she learned to bring the ball back very quickly)!
Xena loves attention but will go out on her own to sniff and bark in our fenced yard. She also loves to just lay and be loved on. She does well around cats. She's curious and will sniff but backs off if the cat shows any aggression or fear! We are working with Xena on basic commands and manners as well. She's still nippy as puppies are and will need continued work on that. Because of this, we recommend children 10 and older. If you're interested in adopting me, my adoption fee is $300 and you can apply through our website at https://www.southpawboxerrescue.com/
