Xena is a 1 year old purebred Treeing Coonhound. Her and her sister were going to be drowned by their breeder/owner when he couldn't sell them as puppies. Xena is healthy and ready to become your new best friend. She'll go jogging with you in the morning and watch TV with you in the evening. She is current on all of her vaccinations and de-worming. Xena was bred to hunt, covering large tracts of land to tree her quarry. Therefore, she would do better to be placed in a home that will provide her with the vast amount of exercise she needs to be mentally and physically satisfied. She can be a bit food aggressive towards other dogs only but around people, she is a little shy at first since she has been at the shelter now for over a year.
