Meet Wynnie
Wynnie is a 2 yr old, very happy dog who loves people and is ready to become the permanent member of a family in a home with a private, secured yard where she can enjoy easy outdoor time, in addition to regular, moderate walks. Wynnie came to us from Mexico after being brutally dragged behind a car and left for dead. Despite that cruelty she is SOOOO SWEET and LOVING! She has healed from her resulting partial amputations and is now walking as a tripod with the aid of a prosthetic cup to replace her missing hind foot. She should soon receive her over the knee hind prosthetic with a walking blade for her other hind leg. She will adjust to it and soon be running like a pro. Wynnie weighs approx. 55 lbs, is good with nice tempered dogs, fine with cats, and a good fit for bigger kids (over 10). We are looking for a dog savvy and prosthetic-friendly home for this girl. Wynnie is working on her house training. She is available for foster, foster to adopt or adoption. Please consider adding this incredibly wonderful girl to your family.
