Meet Wyatt

Wyatt came to us when his previous home was unable to care for him and he was segregated from the family to outside living. Living outside may be all that Wyatt has known for the past two years but he is such a forgiving and sweet boy. He was in need of some grooming and had matts covering his body so he has patches of fur missing and his orange fur is sunburned but don't let that fool you. Wyatt is a stunning boy who will once again be gorgeous as his new family will take care of him. He has lived with a female four-legged companion and may like that again but he adores people and wants everyone he sees to love him. He will be the star if you let him:) We are recommending a fenced-in yard for Wyatt as he learns home life again and no small animals or children under 8 (he is a big boy and not aware of his body yet).

If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog, please complete an application online via our website: https://www.chaamp.org/ or email: CHAAMPapplication@gmail.com

Your application helps CHAAMP determine a good match based upon your lifestyle, other pets, etc. We are happy to work with you. A home visit is required prior to all adoptions. You can visit the Malamutes once you're approved for adoption. Alternatively, you may volunteer and learn how positive reinforcement brings out the best in Malamutes.

CHAAMP accepts applications from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC.

ADOPTION FEE
~Adult dogs (two-seven years old): $275.00

All Malamutes are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Adoption fees help us cover these costs. Puppy fees are higher because they require more vet visits for vaccines.

CHAAMP IS NOT A SHELTER. We are volunteers covering a 7-state region.

CHAAMP is a Rescue Affiliate Member of the Alaskan Malamute Assistance League (AMAL). Our rescue efforts are coordinated locally. For a list of AMAL rescues in the USA and Canada, please visit https://www.malamuterescue.org/
