Wyatt American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Wyatt. He’s an 9 month old, 81-pound, gray and white Pitbull who was born around April 2021. He became a mMisfit when he ended up in the shelter w Demodex mange. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.

Wyatt’s skin is all healed up and his hair is growing back fast! He has no medical needs.

Wyatt is very smart! He knows sit and shake, and he is fully house trained and crate trained. He will sleep quietly in his crate all night but can also be trusted to sleep freely in your home. He does need some obedience / leash work. This boy is easily trainable and treat motivated.

Wyatt loves all people but doesn’t know his size. He will be good with kids but anyone under the age of 10 could get knocked over accidentally. He currently lives with multiple other dogs of all sizes and breeds. He does well with everyone but will need slow introductions. He’s excited to play right off the bat, but when he gets too playful he can be nippy or annoy other pets. He’s very expressive with his face, his grunts, and his paws. He would love a dog friend of the same size / energy. He will most likely upset smaller / older dogs with his playful shenanigans and giant paws. However, he could live with a smaller / older dog if he has another friend to run around with the majority of the time.

Wyatt has a very big personality. He’s an affectionate, stubborn, nosy, loyal, goofball! This guy likes to be where the action is! He will observe everything his human does! He doesn’t care if that means a day of binging Netflix, following you around while you do housework, going on car rides, or playing outside. If dogs and people are involved, Wyatt wants in! For the majority of his time in foster care, Wyatt received 2 medicated baths a week to help clear up his skin issues. His foster mom says he is so well behaved in the bath, he actually enjoys it! It’s not warm enough for a doggy pool, but we believe this boy loves water!

This guy needs a patient family who will enjoy all the playful chaos that he creates.
