Wren is a loving, sweet and happy and friendly girl looking for a home where she will get all the attention she needs. She was a stray and wants to do anything to please those caring for her. She is approximately 8-10 years old and will follow you anywhere. She always has a grin on her face and loves to greet new people. She is a bit hesitant when a man approaches but as soon as she sees he is safe she is ready to wag her tail. She loves her crate and is working on potty pad training.
Wren came into the rescue with skin issues. She was very dirty when she was found and has hair loss on her chest and front legs from what was diagnosed as yeast and bacterial infections. She has been under the care of our vet and has been cleaned up and is on medication. We think her skin issues were likely caused by a food allergy and we are working with her diet and believe, in time, her skin issues will resolve.
** Please note: Due to their size, our dogs are not suitable for homes with children under 5.
We do not have a facility; all dogs are fostered in the homes of our volunteers.
Lil Paws is a very small organization, our volunteer time is reserved for interested persons who have filled out the application to adopt.
