Come meet Wren and other great adoptable dogs this Saturday (March 18th) from 12-2 pm at Dogma Bakery in Arlington (2772 S Arlington Mill Dr, Arlington, VA 22206)!

Name: Wren Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd mix

Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of October 2022 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 40 lbs

Gets Along With: Wren has done well with other dogs in the shelter. She should not go to a home with kids under 12 years. We do not know if she has ever lived with cats but she can be tested!

Currently Living at: DC area foster home.
Check out this video of Wren: https://youtu.be/2PuG7N1nx2Y and https://youtu.be/mqHnm6rFpSs.

Special adoption considerations: Wren is still working on her people skills, and so she cannot go to a home with kids under the age of 12.

Wren is Looking For: Her forever family! This cutie is out of the puppy yips and in her prime as a young dog, so she is looking for fun walks and all the adventures her new family can take her on! From long sniffy walks through the neighborhood, to trips to local parks, to sampling new toys at the pet store, Wren wants to try it all. Most of all, though, she will appreciate a roof over her head and a comfy place to nap, knowing that she will be loved for the rest of her days. What do you say? Is this sweet pup the one you've been looking for?
What My Foster Says About Me: Wren is adorable and doing great! She just has so much love to give and has the wiggliest tail!! She LOVES wrestling and playing with my resident dog, but also knows how to relax and cuddle up for a good nap. She's doing great with her housetraining, and has mastered the 'sit' command. She is very nervous when meeting new people, so some people think she's a bit scary at first. Once she realizes all you want to do is love her, she has nothing but snuggles for you. Can you give her the patience and guidance she needs (and a great big yard to play in wouldn't hurt either)?
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
