WOOKIE Pomeranian & Shih Tzu Mix Willard, UT

Wookie is a handsome little boy! He is a Pomeranian/Shih’tzu mix who will be 3 years old in June 2021.
He is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped.

Wookie is a hyper, vocal, and excitable guy.
He takes time to warm up to new people and doesn’t like to be handled up close and personal if he is feeling scared. He needs a human that takes their time making him feel safe and comfortable, and who he can feel bonded to so that he knows he always has someone to look to for comfort.

Wookie is good with other dogs, and has never had any issues with them that we have seen.
He needs some work on his house training and will require a home with a fenced yard because he would run away if startled and not properly confined.
Wookie has quite a bit of energy, and would not be great for someone looking for a super low energy companion.

Wookie would love to become the right person’s little shadow, he wants to follow you around in the yard and enjoy the sun, and lay down on the couch to relax while you watch tv.

Wookie does bark at people if they approach him and he is scared, and will bark if left alone outside at passerby’s.

Adoptions are by application only, we look for the best match for both family and animal.
Adoption fees are non refundable after two weeks of adoption date, as the money has been spent on vet bills and supplies for animals after that period.
